Great concert last night.

As we were waiting there were a few showers but when the boys came on the rain stopped.

sunny

The crowd was massive, much bigger than at Norwich. Could have been 3 or 4 thousand there. I think some loyal Madness fans who were at Norwich had arrived early to see The Dualers as well.

They were on stage for about a hour and did a great set but did not include many of the new songs. The reaction from the crowd was phenominal. They were loving it. Dancing, cheering and singing along. Made me feel really proud.

cheers

They loved Shame and Skandal, Jack the Ripper, Take a Trip, Kiss on the Lips, What a Result, Message to you Rudy, Monkey Man etc.

One quite nice moment. The Dualers did Shame and Skandal which is an old Ska song from way back. Madness had recorded it on their "Dangerman Sessions" album. Later on Madness did a version of Taller than you Are.

Watched the boys with EmJay and wife (sorry forgot to ask your name) Embarassed

Another really great night and well worth the long trip.

Richard

I was at the gig last night too, I had never heard of the Dualers before, My life they are amazing, really set me up for the night ahead.

My pal and I are now hooked, can't wait to get my hands on the cd's.

The whole Madness gig was amazing, took me right back to my childhood.

Looking for ward to seeing The Dualers hitting the big time

A very good night indeed. The reaction from the Madness crowd to the Dualers was great to see. A lot of new fans gained I hope. I think it is quite ironic that the boys are probably more of a Ska band than Madness who have taken many different directions in their 30 years. Saying that they were superb and hugely entertaining.

Carolyn is the name your looking for Richard Smile

I'd never heard of the Dualers before Broadlands, they were the absolute highlight for me, made Madness look like amateurs, true Ska.
They should be called the Dogs Bollocks 'coz that is what they are. My Missus dont even like Ska and she loved 'em and we are def goin to the O2.
The two frontmen have a magic chemistry that was a joy to see and the whole bands passion for what they do was a breath of fresh air. Even if you dont like ska you will love the Dualers just for that feel good factor.

Never heard of em either until wife nagged me to take her to see Madness while in a rather drunken state. Now she's nagging me into taking her to O2, glad I didn't go to Madstock on the 17th or I'd of missed the Dualers.
