| I am Christine, yes, hence the reason I tried to create a bit of interest by posting that we were going to make an anouncement on Saturday. Sadly, it fell on deaf ears. But it's nice to see Natasha and Richard are looking forward to it |

| Good that the boys have another payday with a decent-sized audience, but it's hard for me to get excited about a gig at a place I can't get to supporting a group/band I'm not much interested in - though judging by the ticket prices, UB40 must have some rich fans - £20 for under 12's ??!!
Hope it all goes well, and that those who can afford/do go have a great time! |

| When I looked at the UB40 website the other day they said it was Ali's brother Duncan who was currently fronting the band, and mentions Maxi Priest as a 'guest singer' on some songs. I'm sure Richard would know more about it though, so maybe he can give you more information |

| Apparently, he's meant to sound a lot like Ali, but I haven't heard him myself, so I don't know. |

| Hi Natasha, Yes Ali left UB40 in January 2008, Maxi Priest joined them for one single but the new lead singer is Duncan Campbell who is Robin and Ali's brother. We've seen him front UB40 10 times now and although he does not always sound like Ali, he does a really decent job, but there again, the intention was to get a new lead singer, not to find an Ali replacement. The other point is that 5 of the band members have always taken turns as lead singers so Ali was never the lead singer all of the time. The UB40 sound is still there but the biggest change anyone will se is how much happier UB40 are now.
UB40 have got copies of The Melting Pot and The Cooking Pot albums as well as some of the videos and we always mention The Dualers whenever we get the chance to speak with them.
As Liz says The Dualers are loved by a great number of the UB40 fans so should be a really great do.
Can't wait
See you there then - Richard |

| One more thing, I am almost certain that Maxi Priest won't be with them at Romsey.
